Code of Conduct
All players, parents, guardians, coaches, and spectators represent ALTBSA and are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity.
Player Code of Conduct
I agree to:
- Play with heart, hustle, and good sportsmanship at all times.
- Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, umpires, and officials.
- Accept responsibility for my actions and attitudes.
- Support and encourage my teammates.
- Arrive on time and prepared for practices and games.
- Follow all safety rules and instructions from coaches.
- Refrain from using profanity, bullying, or negative behavior.
Parent / Guardian / Spectator Code of Conduct
I agree to:
- Support the coaches and ALTBSA staff positively.
- Refrain from coaching my child or other players from the sidelines.
- Direct all concerns or complaints to the coach or ALTBSA Board privately — never in front of players.
- Maintain a positive attitude and cheer appropriately.
- Respect umpires, opposing teams, and their fans.
- Model good sportsmanship for my child at all times.
- Abide by all facility rules at Weiss Field, Bleser Field, and other venues.
Coach Code of Conduct
Coaches agree to:
- Prioritize player safety and development above winning.
- Treat all players fairly and with respect.
- Lead by example with positive communication and behavior.
- Maintain appropriate boundaries with players.
- Complete all required background checks and training.
- Represent ALTBSA professionally at all times.
Consequences for Violations
The ALTBSA Board reserves the right to issue warnings, suspend, or remove any player, parent, coach, or spectator whose conduct is detrimental to the program.
